Kotoko would only sign players who are healthy and prepared to play for the team - Emmanuel Dasoberi

Before the 2024–2025 football season, Asante Kotoko's administrative manager, Emmanuel Dasoberi, shared some of the club's objectives.

In an interview with Akoma FM on Wednesday, June 26, he stated that the team will not use more than 26 players in the upcoming campaign.

He gave supporters the reassurance that Asante Kotoko will only sign players who are healthy and prepared to play moving ahead for the team.

"I want to reassure our fans that we are signing players who are ready and fit to play for Asante Kotoko," Emmanuel Dasoberi stated. "We will work with a maximum of 26 players."

Asante Kotoko had a difficult time competing in the Ghana Premier League the previous season, ultimately placing sixth.

The majority of the Reds' players who made appearances were charged with lack of commitment.

Up to 18 players have already been offloaded by the end of the season.

According to sources, Asante Kotoko may issue a couple more.
