Berekum Chelsea 0-3 Hearts of Oak - Match Report

On Wednesday afternoon, Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Berekum Chelsea 3-0 in the Ghana Premier League's Week 29 encounter.

Hearts of Oak, who entered the game with 35 points in 13th place and Berekum Chelsea in 8th place with 41 points, needed the victory badly.

Both teams fought for midfield dominance in the first half of the match, and neither was able to generate many clear-cut opportunities. But thanks to a well-taken goal by in-form forward Hamza Issah in the 23rd minute, Hearts of Oak broke the deadlock.

Following the intermission, both sides altered their lineups and tactics. Hearts of Oak started to take control of the match, and Linda Mtange's goal in the 59th minute gave them the prize for their efforts.

Berekum Chelsea made an attempt to rally, but Hearts of Oak's strong defense allowed them to stave off their opponents. Hearts of Oak's third goal, scored by striker Kassim Cisse, put the game out of doubt in the 83rd minute and gave them all three points.

Hearts of Oak will now take on Aduana Stars, while Chelsea will focus on their upcoming league matchup against Asante Kotoko.
