Before their match against Accra Hearts of Oak, Aduana FC's head coach Yaw Acheampong is still optimistic that his squad would overcome the injuries to important players.

The much-awaited match is set for match week 30 of the current 2023–2024 Ghana Premier League on Friday, May 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

On Monday, May 4, the team's recent play earned them a goalless draw at Accra Stadium versus Accra Lions.

With this outcome, Aduana's league winless run now stands at three games, having previously lost 2-1 to Karela United and 1-0 to Bibiani Gold Stars.

Acheampong highlighted the value of flexibility and cooperation while expressing delight with his team's tactical performance.

"Though tactically I'm very happy with the performance today, it was a very difficult game."

"You play with what you have sometimes. As you can see, performing a part is more important than having a position these days.

"We play Hearts here in our next game, and I'm pleased with the play we made tonight. We will have plenty of time to recover from the injuries and assess if the injured players can play against Hearts.
