Before the final three Ghana Premier League games, Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has urged a shift in the players' mindset.

With three games remaining in the season, the Ghanaian powerhouses are facing relegation due to their poor play this season. The Phobians are now only two points above the relegation zone.

Hearts of Oak was perilous due to their poor performance and a 2-0 loss to their bitter rivals, Asante Kotoko.

The Phobians must win their remaining matches against Bechem United, Nations FC, and Great Olympics, their local rivals to stay up.

In an interview, Ouattara stated that his team needs to win all of the remaining games to survive, and as a result, he has pushed for a shift in the players' mindset.

We will make an effort. Since I cannot use magic to produce more players, I must use every resource at my disposal to select the greatest players. We are not doing well on the table and have lost a few games, so we are in a horrible predicament.

The sole option available to us is to select the maximum number of points in the games that are left. Picking points requires us to adopt a different mindset. The three games left are the key emphasis; we need to win all three of them to stay alive," he stated.

After 31 games this season, Hearts of Oak are ranked 15th in the league standings with 38 points. The Accra Sports Stadium will host Nations FC on Friday, matchday 32 of the league season.
