Legend of Asante Kotoko Opoku Nti is optimistic Hearts of Oak will make it through the Ghana Premier League season without being relegated.

With three games remaining in the season, the Ghanaian powerhouses are facing relegation due to their poor play this season. The Phobians are now only two points above the relegation zone.

Hearts of Oak found themselves in a perilous situation due to their poor performance and a 2-0 loss to their bitter rivals, Asante Kotoko.

The Phobians must win their remaining matches against Bechem United, Nations FC, and Great Olympics, their local rivals to stay up.

Charles Taylor demands Hearts of Oak be demoted, but Opoku Nti believes Kotoko's bitter rival will remain in the Ghanaian Premier League at the end of the campaign.

Hearts of Oak are not now in the relegation zone thanks to Kotoko. I don't think Hearts will be demoted, he said to Kessben FM, which Footballghana.com was listening to. Kotoko has defeated Hearts in both legs this season, giving Kotoko the advantage.

After 31 games this season, Hearts of Oak are ranked 15th in the league standings with 38 points. On matchday 32 of the league season, they will host Nations FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
