Goalkeeper Fredrick Asare of Asante Kotoko has assured supporters that his team would win this weekend's Super Clash at Baba Yara Sports Stadium against Hearts of Oak.

The former Accra Lions player predicts a fierce struggle between the Porcupine Warriors and Phobians in the GPL week 31 match, but he is convinced the Porcupine Warriors will win on Sunday.

Before the much-awaited match in Kumasi, Asare stated his resolve in an interview with Kotoko media.

Coming into the match, Asante Kotoko is coming off a 2-1 loss to Berekum Chelsea at Golden City Park in their previous league encounter.

Asare, who is currently in 10th place in the league, apologized to the supporters for the team's poor performance this season and promised that the forthcoming match would be exciting and feature high-caliber football.

"I promise that this will be an amazing game for the fans. We will make them pleased, and it will be a great game. We'll make sure to address any errors we made before the game and will exert every effort to defeat Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
