Giants in the Ghana Premier League, Asante Kotoko, have taken notice of Samartex defender Ebenezer Acquah due to his outstanding play in the soon-to-end season.

After joining the Timber Giants in the summer of 2022, Acquah has developed into a crucial member of the team.

The highly regarded defender left Skyy FC to join Samartex after making spectacular plays and winning seven Man of the Match honors in the lower league.

The 24-year-old, who has now made 28 appearances in the Ghana Premier League, has been a standout for Samartex.

With four games remaining in the season, his outstanding play has vaulted the Timber Giants to the top of the league standings.

Asante Kotoko is among the clubs that have taken notice of Acquah's outstanding performance.

According to sources, the Porcupine Warriors are prepared to sign the defender before the 2024–2025 football season because they want to have a significant influence the next year.

With four games remaining in the season, the Timber Giants lead the domestic top division with 55 points.

But Samartex can win the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season with a little more effort.
