Amos Frimpong, the former captain of Asante Kotoko, has advised his former team not to underestimate Hearts of Oak in front of Sunday's crucial match.

The two biggest clubs in the nation are currently outside of the top four in the 2023–24 Ghana Premier League due to their poor play.

He said to Takoradi-based Connect FM, "Any of the teams can be relegated and because of the bragging rights, they will give their all on the day." The participants will enter the match equipped with.

"Games between the two teams are always tough, but based on their success in their last three games against Hearts of Oak, Kotoko appears to be the favorite this time.

"They must maintain their poise in front of the goal. Based on what I've seen, they produce a lot, but they could have scored more if they had maintained their composure.

"The latter shows up and delivers when most people expect Kotoko to beat Hearts of Oak in Kumasi," he continued.
