My boys lost focus against Hearts of Oak - coach Kassim Ocansey of Nations FC.

In match week 32 of the Ghana Premier League, Nations FC's head coach, Kassim Mingle Ocansey, has attributed his team's 2-0 loss to Hearts of Oak on Friday to a subpar start.

Nations FC had only one league victory in their previous seven games, which was a continuation of their dismal performance in the latter half of the 2023–2024 season.

They are fourth in the league after recording two draws and four losses.

Early goals by Kassim Cisse and Hamza Issah in the tenth and fifteenth minutes gave Hearts of Oak the lead and sealed the victory. During his press conference after the game, Ocansey bemoaned his team's slow start.

"We are sorry to have lost. That's what happened we let up two goals very quickly. Following our goals conceded, our boys picked up their play.

They gave up two goals quickly at the beginning, lost concentration, and got up and play later. Regretfully, we were unable to equalize.

After losing 2-0 to their bitter rival Asante Kotoko earlier in the season, Hearts of Oak moved to 11th place in the league.
