Baba Yahaya, a midfielder for Asante Kotoko, stated that his ambition for the forthcoming football season is to score at least five goals and dish out an assist in each and every game he plays.

The gifted midfielder is expected to have a significant impact on the upcoming football season, even if he has already acknowledged that he didn't perform up to par in the just-finished campaign.

In 25 Premier League games, Yahaya has five assists and two goals, but he is determined to contribute more to the powerful Ghanaian team.

The former King Faisal star gave a pledge to the club's media that he would score at least five goals and dish out an assist in each and every game he plays in during the upcoming campaign.

"Next season, I'll put in a lot of work. In the next season, I want to score at least five goals. Additionally, I'll exert every effort to help in every game I participate in.

Despite having a challenging season, Asante Kotoko placed sixth in the Ghana Premier League.

In the meantime, the team will start getting ready for the first Democracy Cup, scheduled for July 5, 2025.

Next week, the Porcupine Warriors will travel to Accra Sports Stadium to play Hearts of Oak.
