Danlad Ibrahim, a former captain of Asante Kotoko, thinks the Ghana Premier League is still competitive.

Over the years, several Ghanaians have claimed that the lack of competition in the local leagues is the reason for their sudden passion for global football at the expense of the country's top division.

However, the former Ghana youth international claimed that the Ghana Premier League is competitive when discussing his thoughts on the situation of the country's top division.

"There is still competition in the Ghana Premier League." I can confirm that the league currently has no minor clubs. The individual clubs' leadership is performing admirably. The story has evolved since some clubs struggled even to have their own bus.

"As a nation, we possess talent, and the coaches provide up-and-coming players with opportunities to demonstrate their abilities. He stated, "I think our league is still competitive despite changing things.

After spending eight years with Asante Kotoko, Danlad Ibrahim ended his contract at the end of the season, making him a free agent as of right now.
