FC Drita hopes to reconnect Raddy Ovouka and Salifu Ibrahim after Hearts of Oak part ways with key players.

Salifu Ibrahim

Ghana Sports Page claims that FC Drita, a dominant team in Kosovo, is organizing a reunion between Raddy Ovouka and Salifu Ibrahim, his old teammate at Hearts of Oak.

It is said that the 24-year-old midfield player and the club have reached an agreement to sign him on a free transfer for the upcoming campaign.

Salifu Ibrahim's contract with Hearts of Oak expired lately, and he has not renewed with Techiman Eleven Wonders. Despite playing a crucial part in the team's campaign the previous season, negotiations to extend his contract halted when he asked for a $2500 monthly post-tax wage. The player's agent and the club disagreed over the proposed wage as a result of the club's inability to accommodate this demand.

Salifu Ibrahim won two FA Cups, the Super Cup, and the Premier League while playing for Hearts of Oak under Samuel Boadu.

After only missing out on relegation on the penultimate day of the previous season, Hearts of Oak is getting ready to let go of underwhelming players as the new season draws near.
