Legend Abdul Razak of Asante Kotoko has given the team's current players insightful counsel despite their patchy performance in the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors have had a difficult season thus far, having played 29 games in the Ghana Premier League and having won 11, lost 11, and drawn 7.
Kotoko had won just one of their previous seven games before making a polite visit to the club's life patron, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
However, after taking four points from their previous two games, it seems the Ghanaian powerhouses have found their form again.
The record league leaders, with 40 points, are presently ranked 10th in the rankings for the soon-to-end season.
In an interview with Akoma FM, Razak pleaded with the players to follow the coach's instructions and maintain discipline so they could be proud of themselves.
"Asante Kotoko players need to be more disciplined and serious. You are not better than the coach as a football player; follow his instructions to uplift the team and yourself," the coach stated.
The Porcupine Warriors have five games left in the season, and they want to go out strong.
