Emmanuel Kotei returns from suspension to face RTU

To strengthen Asante Kotoko's squad for their Ghana Premier League matchup against Real Tamale United, defender Emmanuel Kotei has returned from suspension.

Due to a yellow card accumulation, the former Nsoatreman FC defender could not play in the Porcupine Warriors match versus Great Olympics.

On matchday 32 of the domestic top division, the Ghanaian giants lost 1-0 to Great Olympics while he was away.

After serving his suspension, he is anticipated to rejoin the starting lineup on Saturday as they prepare for the penultimate Ghana Premier League match.

Kotei's availability against the Pride of the North will please coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, as they look to close off the season strong.

In the second transfer window, Kotei moved from Nsoatreman FC to Asante Kotoko, where he has since become an important player for the squad.

With two games left in the season, Asante Kotoko is now 10th in the Ghana Premier League standings with 43 points.
