With the victory, the Black Stars have moved up to the second position in Group I with six points, while Comoros remains at the top with six points plus a goal differential.

Ghana's victory marks their first away victory since 2022.

The Black Stars will now get ready for their matchday four encounter at Baba Yara Stadium on June 10 against the Central African Republic.

The four-time African champions want to qualify for the Mundial, which will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
