Former Accra Hearts of Oak managing director Frederick Moore voiced his optimism that the team would make it through the present relegation threat in the 2023–24 Ghana Premier League.

With just one victory in their previous five games, the Phobians have been having a difficult time lately. As a result, they are currently only two points above the relegation zone.

Match week 31's 2-0 loss to longtime rivals Asante Kotoko was their most recent setback, which added to the team's mounting strain. Hearts of Oak, with 38 points from 31 games, is presently ranked 15th in the league rankings. Their next home game is scheduled for May 31 against Nations FC.

Determining the actual nature of Hearts of Oak's problem takes time and effort. But there appears to be a rift inside the group," he stated to Akoma FM.

"Hopefully, Hearts of Oak will not be demoted. As long as the league isn't finished, I know there is still hope. I hope all parties involved coaches, players, the board, and supporters know how difficult this is.

"My only wish is to succeed and stay out of the relegation zone. To help salvage the situation, everyone must be on board.
