The Phobians defeated Nations FC 2-0 on Friday night at the Accra Sports Stadium during Matchday 32.
With two league games remaining in the 2023–2024 season, Hearts secured their tenth victory of the season with two goals from Kassim Cisse and Hamza Issah in the tenth and fifteenth minutes, respectively.
After the victory, Ouattara emphasized the significance of winning the game at a post-game press conference.
"You saw the second half, we had problems with injuries, and Nations FC played well but fortunately we got the two goals early and it’s good for us," he said.
After the victory, Hearts of Oak are now 11th in the league standings with 41 points. They will play Great Olympics, a rival team from the city, in the Matchday 33 fixtures at the Accra Sports Stadium the following weekend.
