"It was a bad day for us."- Prosper Narteh Ogum said

Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum of Asante Kotoko has acknowledged that his team's defeat against the Great Olympics was a poor performance during his tenure.

On Sunday at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, the Porcupine Warriors lost 1-0 against the Wonder Club in the current 2023–24 Ghana Premier League matchday 32.

Following his discussion of his team's need for improvement in the game's closing stages, Dr. Ogum feels his team was unlucky with Steven Mukwala's saved penalty attempt.

"I think it's a terrific squad; the guys are good both individually and collectively. It's just one of those unfavorable workdays," he said to StarTimes.

"Steven was always running behind the defense but unfortunately, it’s that he couldn’t connect that penalty that’s the only shortfall," he said.

After the loss, Asante Kotoko dropped to eighth place in the league standings with forty-three points. They will play Real Tamale United next before hosting Bofoakwa Tano, who will be relegated, to round off their season.
