After Hearts of Oak's lackluster performance over the previous two seasons, former captain Fatawu Mohammed voiced his thoughts.

For the past two seasons, the Phobians have not been among the top ten teams in the Ghana Premier League.

The Ghanaian powerhouses finished 14th in the just concluded Ghana Premier League season after placing 12th in the previous two seasons.

Fatawu Mohammed, a current Karela United player, voiced concern to DelSoka on YouTube on the Phobians' recent troubles.

That is our collective beginning. We are Hearts of Oak by blood. The squad has not been doing well for the previous two seasons, but that is just the nature of the sport. I'll tell my coworkers there to persevere. They ought to continue their battle. We hope that the club has a prosperous upcoming season," he remarked.

In the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, the Phobians are expecting to make a positive impact.

September 2024 will mark the start of the league season for 2024–2025.
